Scope: Flat roof renovation, total area approx. 1,700m2
Substrate: Roof waterproofing membrane (EVA)
Period: approx. three weeks, September 2015
Applied: WestWood® Wecryl roof waterproofing system (tested according to ETAG 005, FLL and BROOF (t1)).
Industrial roof renovated during ongoing production operations
The production hall of the medium-sized company DITTRICH+CO is equipped with state-of-the-art injection molding machines that operate in three shifts around the clock. This generally ruled out demolition of the leaking roof seal and any associated loss of production. The tested and approved Wecryl roof waterproofing system was used as a root-resistant waterproofing system resistant to flying sparks and radiant heat (hard roofing) for the substance-preserving roof renovation.
