House after house of watertight balconies - with PMMA

Repairing 512 mostly leaky balconies of the residential buildings in Sindelfingen's Watzmannstrasse that were in need of renovation - this was one of the largest projects that WestWood^® has implemented so far with its Wecryl thick-film system for balconies. A total of approx. 8,000 m² of surface area was permanently coated and decoratively designed for Wohnstätten Sindelfingen GmbH using modern PMMA liquid resin systems. The year-round workability and short curing times of the PMMA resins played a major role in making this major renovation possible in three years. So it was a matter of clearing balcony after balcony, sanding the substrate, priming, coating - and then applying the wearing course. The high-performance Wecryl coating system will keep the tenants happy with their renovated balconies with their attractive appearance for many years to come.
